Twitter Makes It Easier To Report Abuse

You are probably aware of the danger living within us: Twitter Trolls. Like them or not, social media platforms are filled with abusive updates and lots of bullying. To fight them, Twitter has announced a bunch of changes for a safer social network.

Simply, now it’s easier to report or block someone.

From the blog: “We’re improving the reporting process to make it much more mobile-friendly, require less initial information, and, overall, make it simpler to flag Tweets and accounts for review. These enhancements similarly improve the reporting process for those who observe abuse but aren’t receiving it directly.”

Apart from the user side, Twitter also made changes in the backroom to enhance the review process.

The social media giant has also made it possible for you to see who you’ve blocked, in a similar fashion with “accounts you’re muting”. Of course, the updates are now available for a small group of users.

The team announced the changes with a simple video via Twitter, which in fact does not tell much:
